Terms of Service
Effective January 1, 2026. Last reviewed August 2, 2026.
1. Agreement
By using ContractExtract, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not upload a document or use the service.
2. What the service provides
ContractExtract attempts to extract structured information from supported documents with an AI model. Reports are informational reading aids only. The service is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice or representation, and does not create an attorney-client relationship.
3. AI output and user responsibility
- AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, misleading, or inconsistent.
- You must compare every important finding and quotation with the complete source document.
- You are responsible for decisions made from the document or report.
- Use a qualified attorney for legal interpretation, enforceability, disputes, deadlines, or high-stakes decisions.
4. Your documents and authority
You retain your rights in content you upload. You represent that you have authority to submit the document for processing and to transmit it to the service providers described in the Privacy Policy. Do not upload content when disclosure to those providers would violate a duty, agreement, court order, or applicable law.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use ContractExtract to:
- break the law or violate another person's rights;
- upload malware, exploit files, or content intended to disrupt or manipulate the service;
- bypass access limits, rate limits, or security controls;
- misrepresent an AI report as legal advice or a professional legal opinion; or
- automatically scrape, resell, or overload the service without written permission.
6. Access and payment status
ContractExtract currently provides limited free access subject to availability and abuse controls. Paid checkout is disabled, and the site is not currently accepting payment. No paid plan, price, subscription, cancellation process, or refund offer is being made through this site at this time.
7. Availability and changes
The service may be changed, limited, suspended, or discontinued. File support, limits, model behavior, and free access may change. Material public changes will be reflected in the relevant product or policy page.
8. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without a guarantee that a report will be accurate, complete, suitable for a particular purpose, uninterrupted, or error-free. Nothing in these Terms excludes a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ContractExtract is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on an AI-generated report. This limitation does not apply where applicable law does not allow it.
10. Contact and updates
Revised Terms will be posted here with an updated review date. Questions can be submitted through the Contact page.
