ContractExtract uses Claude AI to read your uploaded contract and identify key clauses, dates, parties, and obligations for a structured, plain-language report.
When you upload a file, it is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS to our server, where the text is extracted and sent to the Claude API for analysis. The resulting report is returned directly to your browser. ContractExtract does not intentionally write documents or reports to its own database. Anthropic and Vercel process data under their own terms, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
What contract terms does ContractExtract identify?
The tool attempts to identify parties, effective dates, payment terms, termination clauses, liability limits, confidentiality provisions, and renewal terms when they appear in the document.
The report can help you locate terms to review in the original document. AI output can be incomplete or wrong, so it should not be treated as a substitute for reading the contract or getting legal advice. The available contract-type prompts cover NDAs, employment contracts, vendor agreements, lease agreements, freelance contracts, and rental agreements.

Is it safe to upload confidential contracts?
ContractExtract processes contracts server-side and does not intentionally save documents or results in its own database.
All data is transmitted over TLS-encrypted HTTPS connections. We do not log contract content, use it for advertising, or sell it. The document is transmitted to Anthropic solely to perform the requested analysis. Anthropic and our hosting provider process data under their own documented retention terms; see the Privacy Policy.
